Laura Harris spent many years tucked away cosily in her garden studio. The walls bare, bar errant splashes of paint, and the room simple but furnished with well worn and equally paint dashed furniture. Her art flourished here, but after many years in her creative sanctuary she felt a desire to shake things up.

In 2018 she swapped bird song and green lawns for a Victoria (BC) based studio. This change of pace has reinvigorated art and on Saturday April 13th from 2-5pm Laura will be at Canada House Gallery (201 Bear Street, Banff) for an artist reception to share a collection of her new work.
