Vancouver artist, Todd Spicer is hosting a pop up show showing new paintings and sculptures from his series Lefty's Garage. After surviving a number of health issues, Spicer's focus has been on maintenance and repair. This is evident in his approach to the pieces in this exhibit. The works are personal and interactive. Getting in close to examine the layers that go into his work will reveal the depth, care and consideration that went into every piece. The venue at 1360 Frances Street, just off of Clark Drive, has been chosen because it is a new gallery space with the bones of garage. Check it out and see for yourself. 12-5pm Saturday and Sunday.
