Lisa Maria Bellano is a lawyer.
Sean Coppel is a chemistry student.
What do they both have in common? They are both self taught artists and they both love to draw with black ink Micron pens, specifically the 05.
Lisa Maria Bellano is a lawyer and interdisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, BC. Prior to the pandemic, she was intensively training in physical theatre and performance art. With the shut down of theatres and performance spaces, she picked up a sketchbook and started to draw again. She is currently teaching herself how to draw and make comics from her at-home studio, and always drawing with a Micron 05, her favorite black ink pen.
Sean Coppel is 23-years-old student from Vancouver, currently living in Victoria finishing off his chemistry undergraduate degree. If he's not writing lab reports or studying he is on his bike or on the trails, or drawing. Sean drawing is a place to escape for him. A time to not be precise but a time to be free to let his mind wander and be free with his favorite black ink pen, the Micron 05.
