In Lyrical Lines, James Culleton uses blind contour drawing to deliver a who’s who of Canada’s roots scene in some of Winnipeg’s most venerable music venues. The 200 drawings in this collection highlight performances between 2006 and 2019.

James Culleton graduated from Fine Arts at the University of Manitoba in 1997. He has won awards from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Quebec, The Michaelle Jean Foundation, The American Society of Furniture Designers, and the Manitoba Society of Artists. James is an instructor at the Forum Art Centre and Red River College.
