“I learned first hand why this beautiful creek is named Lynx Creek... while painting there on location, a Lynx emerged from the bush and found its way across the creek not far from me. A magical connection to this place. The painting I was making there that day was a small 8”x6”, but I knew that spot was special and destined to be brought to a large canvas.” – Maria Josenhans
