Melanie Morstad: Fusion

Fusion is the process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single unique entity.

Melanie Morstad’s latest body of artwork has a new playfulness born from experimenting with various textures and mediums. Driven by her emotional connection to nature Morstad, chooses landscapes and florals as her primary subject matter. Paintings begin with her unique, process of pouring, dripping and spraying acrylic inks and paint. The fusion of colours, materials and textures, gives her paintings spontaneity, while willing images to emerge.
