Monitor 13: Dance on my head and scratch my heart
Monitor is the experimental film and video program of the South Asian Visual Arts Centre (SAVAC). For its thirteenth edition, curated by Sharlene Bamboat and Priya Sen, a screening of work by Faraz Anoushahpour, Parastoo Anoushahpour, Rehana Zaman, Nazli Dinçel, Michelle Williams Gamaker, August Fröhls, Weeda Azim and Oliver Husain will initiate dialogues around the shifting nature of South Asian politics, economies and landscapes.
The following week on January 14 at 7pm, a reading and discussion hosted by Western Front's Exhibitions Assistant, Simranpreet Anand, will investigate themes of identity, diaspora and migration as they arise in Monitor 13.
