Métis Jigging with Felice Gladue – Virtual. June 19, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Bring your whole family - join the fun in learning the Métis Jig. Cultural Educator Felice Gladue of Métis ALIVE keeps this active and joyful tradition alive. The class will be presented live (virtually) through Microsoft Teams. This program offers energetic dance paired with opportunities to hear stories and learn more about Canada’s rich cultural history. Accompanied with live fiddle playing by Zachary Willier.
Floral Fish Scale Art with MJ Belcourt – Virtual. June 19, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
MJ Belcourt is an Edmonton-based Métis artist, educator and curator. She will share the beauty of traditional fish scale art and guide participants in creating their very own fish scale keepsake.
