An ancient cosmetics table featured the usual items we would expect today: perfume jars, powder boxes,hand-held mirrors, etc. However, Greeks, Romans, Etruscan's decorated these domestic pieces with unexplained scenes from mythology, ranging from violent warfare to heroic battles against monsters.
