On the Fringe of the Bow features a diverse and talented group of local artists whose art form, once considered subversive, is now on the fringe of mainstream society. The exhibition includes skateboard designs, tattoo art and three-dimensional chainmail constructions. There is an unconventional, spiritual and rebellious appeal to the exhibition where each work is infused with imagination, metaphor and wonder. Throughout, urban symbolism and historic connotations weave a narration of fantasy, mythology and realism.
