Do you dare? O S E Z [ô-zé] art exhibit opens Oct 2 at The Fort Gallery.
In the exhibition OSEZ [ ô-zé], which means to challenge, provoke or dare, Beaudet invites the audience to discover the beauty of the imperfections found in nature.
Beaudet, an avid climber and sailor has been exploring the mountains and coastline of the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. His paintings display the snags and dead trees that remain standing proudly amongst the rejuvenated forests and the intimate moments he has spent on the ocean exploring these remote locations.
The theme coursing through this show is the impermanent nature and transitory state of the world around us. Beaudet’s art calls us to interpret the fragility and strength of what exists simply in the natural world through the use of expressive textures, colours and fluid shapes.
