Plug In ICA, "Prairie Art Book Fair," 2020
Plug In ICA is excited to invite you to join us for our 2020 Prairie Art Book Fair! The fair will feature a series of online readings, workshops and events along with an online compilation of works by artists, writers, and publishers from the Prairies and beyond.
PABF will take place throughout the month of September. We will be highlighting publications from ARP Books, Blank Cheque Press, Candor Arts, Cedar Eve, Jonathan Dyck, Katrina Marie Mendoza, Metonymy Press, New Gallery, Or Gallery, Peripheral Review, Red Rising Magazine, Sylvia Matas, The Third Rail, Whess Harman, and Zinnia Naqvi.
We are also excited to announce our Prairie Art Book Fair online events running from September 11-13, 2020! The 2020 Prairie Art Book Fair online programming schedule includes Art Book Show + Tell with Cason Sharpe, a self publishing workshop with Carnation, a reading of Noopiming: The Cure for White Ladies featuring music from the Noopiming Sessions by Leanne Betasamosake Simpson, a writing workshop with Yaniya Lee and Fan Wu exploring revolution in monogamy, and a screening and discussion of Dafe Oboro’s A beautiful struggle led by Patterns Collective.
