Manitoba artist Anja Studer, debuts her new series "Protect What You Love" at Pulse Gallery. Anja has created a call to action through a series of encaustic paintings of animals native to the province of Manitoba. Each painting combines an abstract landscape, an animal illustration and a graphic pattern symbolizing one of the threats to the featured animal’s survival. Through her art, Anja hopes to inspire others to take action to protect the wildlife we share our home with and will be donating 10% of all sales to the Winnipeg based Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.
