Rage Against Beige, an Okotoks based art show started by gallery proprietors Janifer Calvez and Cheryl Taylor nearly 14 years ago, has a new home at Lineham House Galleries! Bringing the past forward: of this house, of our involvement with the Arts in Okotoks, of our area artists, of this SHOW! That IS something worth talking about!
This showcase, the first to open Okotok’s newest art gallery, not only encompasses the bold, beautiful colours that each artist uses to portray a vast array of subjects opposing neutrality, but also encourages the pushing of boundaries of our interactive art experience. Rage Against Beige pushes the viewer and the artist to expand beyond one’s normal state of being, be open to new experiences and view events in alternate ways. Don’t miss this exciting, inaugural art exhibit – on show until the end of July.
