Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Rick Bond calls the Okanagan Valley home and currently works full-time in his Vernon studio painting our wonderful valley in his distinctly contemporary landscape style. His painting career started in the 1980s where he trained with the Emily Carr outreach program, the Okanagan University College, and the Federation of Canadian Artists. He is celebrated in galleries in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec, and the Hambleton Galleries have been honoured to represent him locally for many years.
