"What initially inspired me to paint was how we all see the world differently. I wanted to create my own visual language that could be used to portray the Canadian landscape in all of its rugged subtleties" - Rod Charlesworth
Rod Charlesworth has made a name for himself painting the vast Canadian landscape. Born in Terrace, British Columbia Rod moved to the Okanagan Valley when he was seven. A childhood passion has since turned into a successful artistic career that has seen Rod’s paintings included in corporate and private collections across the world. Painting imagery with a strong Canadian cultural identity, Rod’s ability to capture, and communicate through paint, the landscape that binds us together as Canadians is an ode to this diverse unity.
