Samantha Williams-Chapelsky completed her BFA from the University of Alberta in 2009 with distinction, majoring in painting and art history. She also completed a term in Italy during 2009 studying Italian art, architecture, and history.
Samantha currently works as a visual art instructor and is a member of the St. Albert Potters Guild, the Painters Guild, and the Visual Arts Studio Association of St. Albert. She has also completed several municipal award commissions for the City of St. Albert including the Mayors Celebration of the Arts Awards in 2012, the Good Neighbor Awards in 2011 & 2014, and the Red Willow Awards in 2011. Samantha was nominated in 2012 and 2014 for the Lieutenant Governors Emerging Artist Award for the province of Alberta and won the 2013 emerging artist Mayors Award in St. Albert.
Samantha has been exhibiting her art for the past five years, participating in over 50 exhibitions including showings in Scotland, India, Italy, and New York.
