School Art Reception will take place on SUN May 7 @ 1PM followed by the Award Ceremony @ 2 PM.
It is our great pleasure once again to showcase South East Alberta's budding artists. This visual art display highlights the creativity and skill of Medicine Hat and region’s students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, and has been a Medicine Hat tradition for 45 years.
Our annual School Art exhibition has grown from 50 works in 1978 to over 800 from 41 different schools today. Paintings, drawings, collages, sculptures, ceramics, photographs, animated and live action video fill the gallery and will amaze and inspire you. We are immensely grateful to all the community members that help bring this exhibition together. A huge thank you to all volunteers, participating students, school staff and teachers, award donors and everyone who continues to support this program and the promotion of visual arts in our community.
