Victoria Scudamore, “Chakra Forest” nd

Victoria Scudamore is an intuitive painter, who uses watercolour, acrylics, and encaustic mediums, to create multi-layered Abstract Expressionistic paintings. Her surroundings and travel inspire her art; forests and oceans are a common theme. She has a Master of Arts from Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C. She did an artist residence in Barcelona, Spain, and has taken numerous workshops around the world with well-known artists.

Michael Abelman is an impressionist inspired artist whose work includes landscapes in acrylic on canvas.

“The incredible beauty of British Columbia inspires me. I find myself drawn to the mountains and sea, to the various ships that arrive and depart daily. I find the slow but fast growing movement of the huge ships a fascinating juxtaposition to the lightening fast speed of modern technology.”

Michael is from Johannesburg, South Africa, and is currently studying art at Emily Carr University.
