Madrona Gallery is pleased to announce four newly available works by Toronto based artist Sean Yelland. These major works span the last decade of his career and offer a glimpse into a number of different series over that time including Just a Moment (2014) and This is How I Feel All the Time (2011) as well as new work from 2019. 

Sean Yelland pulls aspects of beauty from the mundane that normally go unseen. His work plays with a sense of voyeurism and intrigue bordering on the uncanny. Through thoughtful recontextualizing of subject matter, Yelland is removing the comfort of the expected and allows questioning of our relationship to our the spaces around us.
