Campbell River Art Gallery, "Shoal, Annual Art Fundraiser," 2019
SHOAL, [noun]: “a large number of fish swimming together.”
Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 23 for SHOAL: Art Fundraiser. It will be an unmatched evening of art and community building for the CRAG and we are very pleased to present this event in association with Chief Brian Assu & Chief Chris Roberts.
Meaning a large group of fish swimming together, SHOAL is meant to bring together the visual art community across diverse backgrounds in support of North Vancouver Island's only public art gallery. This event will help fund future programming at the CRAG -- school visits and gallery tours, artist talks, workshops and classes, Super Saturday and other special events that engage children, youth and adults.
The jewel of the evening will be the art draw where each ticket holder will wait for their number to be called so they can select one of 100 works of original artwork that they will take home at the end of the evening. Attendees will also nibble on the scrumptious tapas by the Good Wife Gourmet, and peruse through the silent auction filled with stunning pieces from First Nations wood carvings to limited edition prints to original canvases. A cash bar featuring wine, beer and a signature cocktail will be available.
TICKETS
Only 100 tickets available at $100 each.

Featured Artists
Over the next few weeks, we will be featuring the artists and work that has been donated to SHOAL and that will be available during the evening in either the Art Draw or the Silent Auction. The first of these features include Katie Brenna and Scott Bertram, both featured in the Silent Auction.
