Sky Cathedrals & Other Stories is a solo event by artist Marion Webber. It will highlight oil paintings from various series. Series include: Sky Cathedrals, Avenue Walk, Into The Other Land and Traditional. Marion is a long time oil painter with a primary focus on landscapes and nature. She often portrays unusual views or subject matter and paints in traditional and contemporary techniques.

Spectre Cloud is from the series Sky Cathedrals. It is a cumulonimbus cloud over the eastern part of the west coast. The goal for me was to capture the statuesque grandeur of the formation without sacrificing the ethereal nature of it. The whole series was painted in 3 colors plus white. The techniques employed were from 15th century to 20th century styles to get the energy and luminosity of the subjects. Great fun to paint! - Marion Webber
