Summer Salon I
The Front Gallery is pleased to exhibit the work of Peter Doig and Daniel Richter alongside work by several of the Front Gallery’s contemporary artists in this group show. Doig’s prints capture his personal exploration between figuration and abstract meaning. In this way Doig’s process-based work seems to hold both a sense of memory and inventiveness. Richter, like Doig, synthesizes the material with the immaterial. Richter’s work draws from both art history and contemporary events resulting in a visible potency in his work, and a wide range of interpretations by its viewers.
Opening Reception: Thursday, May 26th, 7pm to 9pm.
