Terry McCue
Join us in a celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day 2019 and the Banff Gallery Hop with a unique collection from Canadian treasure – Terry McCue.
Terry McCue is an Ojibway Indian from the Curve Lake First Nation, in southeastern Ontario. Terry moved to Alberta in 1976 and continues to call it home.
McCue’s work tells stories about our connection to the land, to the animals and to each other. Canada House Gallery is proud to represent his work and are thrilled to share a collection of new works to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.
About Terry: For nineteen years, Terry worked as a facilitator conducting workshops across Canada to train substance abuse workers in Native communities. During that time he worked as a freelance illustrator, producing a variety of works including posters, book covers, and illustrations for addiction manuals. He used this work to continually develop his skills as an artist. Terry’s work can be found in private and corporate collections in Canada and the United States.
