Super Saturday: Assemblage Art
Join us at the gallery on August 13th at 12:00 pm for the CRAG’s Super Saturday! We will be making assemblage art inspired by the exhibiting artist in The Chorus is Speaking, Jan Wade! Jan’s memory jugs are created using items she has collected and found throughout her life, once assembled they come alive as a visual representation of the artist’s life, history, experiences and thoughts. Bring your own items to add to pieces!
Sunday Screening 3rd and Final Session
For our final session of Sunday Screenings we will be watching "Tesfaye", an experimental documentary. "Tesfaye" is structured as, and intended to be watched in conjunction with, a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. The CRAG is honoured to have director Daniel D Negatu coming to the Gallery to facilitate the coffee ceremony and screening LIVE in the main gallery!
This is a free event, however we have a limited capacity - Make sure to Register!
