About Artswest Society
Artswest Society is a non-profit group formed in 1986 by eight artists who got together to promote interest and education in art and to participate in art related activities in the community. Over the years, membership has grown to include over seventy active members, both professional and amateur. The Society has organized many exhibitions of works by its members in Surrey, North Delta, and the Fraser Valley, and is active in various artistic activities such as workshops and artist demonstrations.They meet at Newton Cultural Centre on the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:45pm.
