2017 Finalists' Exhibition Opens Friday, September 22, 2017
Featuring some of the Best New Work in Canada
49 Artists were chosen from across Canada by an independent jury for the Finalist Exhibition. All artist submissions were anonymous to the jury.
Known internationally as Canada's premier arts community, Salt Spring Island will host the Gala Opening of the 2017 SSNAP Finalists' Exhibition on Friday, September 22 from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
The Salt Spring National Art Prize has built a national platform for Canadian visual artists and is fast becoming the largest, most prestigious art prize in the country. The work of 49 finalists will be exhibited during a month-long showcase. Eight awards with a total of $30,000 in prizes will be announced on October 21.
The Finalists' Exhibition runs from September 23 through to October 22 from 10:00am to 5:00pm daily.
