From China to France to Canada: Tinyan Chan's Journey
Originally from China, Tinyan Chan began painting at the age of 9. At the age of 16, he was admitted to Wuhan Academy of Fine Arts and by 1967 he headed to France to enroll in the prestigious L’Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts. Tinyan has lived in Canada for the past forty five years and draws inspiration from the passing of the four seasons and the endless beauty of nature and wilderness.
