Local artist Tony Grove's solo exhibition featuring marine art.

Tony Grove began his boat building career in 1980, leading him to become the head instructor at Silvia Bay Shipyard School. Grove’s dedication to boat building shines through his paintings, bringing together beautiful precise line work of ships and fluid organic shapes of the Canadian coast. He is compelled to capture the deteriorating wooden boats before these monuments are gone. Grove uses his artistic license to capture the essence of the boats in his works. His heightened use of colour brings these ships vividly to life.
