The formative years give the viewer an insight as to influences at play in the mind of the artist. In 1972 Toti’s study at the V&A Museum in London led to a unique collection of fashion plates depicting women in couture. On returning to Canada in 1975, her young family inspired a tender series of mother and child etchings. Living an urban lifestyle in Edmonton in the early 80’s, Toti created a volume of works depicting historical venues and festivals which today have proven to be invaluable.
This exhibition offers a rare opportunity for patrons to see origi-nal hand-printed etchings from Toti’s earlier years.
