The Audain Art Museum’s (AAM) new Tuesday Night Talks (TNT) offer a unique opportunity for online participants to simultaneously enter the Museum and the artist’s studio or home during the evening, while learning about key works in the AAM’s Permanent Collection directly from their respective makers.
Hosted by the Museum’s Director & Chief Curator Dr. Curtis Collins, this fifth episode features Joseph Tisiga, a recent recipient of the Sobey Art Award whose work has been gaining national recognition over the past decade, discussing how his art delves into the complexities of identity politics with an exploration of the 2017 oil on canvas on artificial turf series entitled Props for Reconciliation.
Be sure to register for this live Audain Art Museum broadcast on Zoom as participants are invited to submit advance questions for Joseph Tisiga to consider, an essential part of TNT’s interactive format.
