to
Audain Art Museum 4350 Blackcomb Way, Whistler, British Columbia V0N 1B4
The Audain Art Museum’s (AAM) new Tuesday Night Talks (TNT) offer a unique opportunity for online participants to simultaneously enter the Museum and the artist’s studio or home during the evening, while learning about key works in the AAM’s Permanent Collection directly from their respective makers.
Hosted by the Museum’s Director & Chief Curator Dr. Curtis Collins, this sixth episode features Landon Mackenzie, a painter and long-time educator known for her large format mapping works that have been exhibited across Canada and internationally. Mackenzie will be discussing the circumstances around the creation of an oil, acrylic and graphite on linen entitled Rose Snow and Pink Sky (a universe for Carl Hart) of 2014-15 within the larger context of her studio methods and Particle painting series.
Be sure to register for this live Audain Art Museum broadcast on Zoom, and participants are invited to submit advance questions for Landon Mackenzie to consider as an essential part of TNT’s interactive format
