WHAT’S LEFT UNSAID: Harcourt House Members’ 29th Annual Exhibition + Art Sale
What’s Left Unsaid ….
Toss together a mélange of ideas, memories, words, body language, experiences and emotions and – from one individual to the next – dialogue will transform, expand and collapse. Some things will ultimately remain unexpressed. Could these missed exchanges have been an opportunity for growth, a catalyst for self-discovery, or a future transitional moment?
This exhibition has been organized and presented in conjunction with THE WORKS – Art and Design Festival. Complementing THE WORKS Festival’s theme “Dialogue”, Harcourt House’s “What’s Left Unsaid” invites all current members of Harcourt House Artist Run Centre to delve as little deeper into their process of artistic communication: to explore subject matter that may not initially feel comfortable or approachable, to try and articulate something that hasn’t yet been revealed but still lingers there on the periphery.
In addition to bringing Edmonton’s’ growing visual arts community together, this annual art exhibition + art sale doubles as a fundraiser for Harcourt House Artist Run Centre, with 20% of each sold artwork to support Harcourt’s art exhibition and art education programs.
Don’t forget to join us on Saturday, June 24th from 12-5 pm for our Members’ Show BBQ ! Many exhibiting artists will be in attendance.
