This body of work which has been created for the current exhibition at the Peter Robertson Gallery in Edmonton is a continuation of the Alley subject I have embraced throughout my career.
Acrylic paint is the medium for these works, and is applied on canvas or on aluminum composite board. A Volkswagen Beetle, along with a Beatle's song title, are present in some of these paintings.
I love the mystery suggested by these noctunal winter paintings, with warmth and light coming from within the work.
