This exhibition has a dual focus. Having been taught at the Alberta College of Art by Illingworth Kerr and a subsequent long-time friend; Duma has been forever interested and drawn to the beauty and challenge in painting the night-scene. On the same breath the challenge of the abstract quality of water, paired with Duma’s passion for fly fishing has had a constant pull for him to explore painting water-scapes.
