500 COLLECTIVE is thrilled to announce its THIRD ANNUAL Winter Market Nov 30. 10-3 & Dec 1. 11-3

Once again, we are showcasing a curated group of local creatives + our resident 500 Collective members in an epic Winter Market of art and other amazing locally made goodies for everyone on your list... and maybe a little something for you too! Take in some live music and enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate at this exciting creative hub offering a unique onestop shopping experience that allows you to support local while also contributing to Calgary’s vibrant community of creative entrepreneurs.

What is 500 Collective? 500 Collective is an evolving community of studio workshop spaces that endeavours to fill a missing niche in YYC’s community of creative-focussed entrepreneurs. There are currently 20 artists who make up the collective - painters, illustrators, photographers, sculptors  of various stages of their careers. 500 Collective also is home to a Calgary Allied Arts Foundation Artist Residency that supports emerging artists to get started in their careers by providing space and funding to further explore their creative practice. 

Located in the heart of the transitional Manchester Industrial area, immediately behind Christine Klassen Gallery, the collective has taken over 3 joined bays totalling 5900 sf of working studio spaces for all disciplines of creatives to grow and evolve.  The collective hosts monthly Open Studio events so stay tuned for our next event to check out our space, meet the amazing artists and most importantly, support YYC arts!
