Anthony Kiendl No Longer Vancouver Art Gallery CEO
Anthony Kiendl is no longer the Executive Director and CEO of the Vancouver Art Gallery, according to a story by Marsha Lederman in Tuesday’s Globe and Mail. He had been in the role since 2020.
“As of Monday, Anthony Kiendl is no longer chief executive officer and director, the VAG confirmed on Tuesday,” according to the story. “We agreed to separate,” the VAG's board chair Jon Stovell told The Globe and Mail.
Specific reasons for his departure were not given.
Deputy director Eva Respini, and Sirish Rao, the director of public engagement and learning, are serving as co-interim leaders until a new CEO is named.
