Steven Foord has been appointed as the executive director of the Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge.
Foord has more than 15 years of experience in the Lethbridge arts scene, first as a musician and founder of The Owl Acoustic Lounge. He joined the Allied Arts Council in 2024 as the manager of engagement, expanding membership and championing the arts in Lethbridge.
“I am honoured to step into this role and continue working alongside the incredible artists, organizations, supporters, and community partners that make Lethbridge’s arts scene so dynamic,” Foord said in a news release. “The AAC has long been a vital advocate for the arts, and I’m excited to help continue that legacy and aid in shaping Lethbridge’s artistic future.”
