Glenbow Names New Director, Collections, Curatorial
The Glenbow in Calgary has named Christine Leppard as its new Director, Collections and Curatorial. She takes over from Daryl Betenia, who retired from the position earlier this year.
Leppard was most recently the Sam Centre's manager of exhibitions and experience at the Calgary Stampede. She holds a doctorate from the University of Calgary in Canadian and military history, where she is now an adjunct assistant professor. She is also a member of the Heritage Calgary board and is a past board chair for the organization.
The Glenbow is currently closed for major renovations; it is scheduled to reopen in 2026.
