Mountain Galleries in the Fairmont Empress
Mountain Galleries has announced it has opened a new location inside the historic Fairmont Empress hotel in Victoria, British Columbia.
“This exciting expansion brings our mission of showcasing exceptional Canadian and international art to one of the country’s most beloved and historic destinations,” according to the Mountain Galleries news release.
The grand opening will take place June 26 from 4 to 6 pm.
Represented artists include Jane Waterous, Hunt Slonem, Dylan Martinez, Charlie Easton, Doria Moodie and Marleen Vermeulen.
The new space marks the fifth Mountain Galleries location. The others are located in the Fairmont Banff Springs, Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and Fairmont Tremblant.
Mountain Galleries began in Jasper in 1992.
