Sandra Dyck Named As Reach Gallery's Executive Director
Sandra Dyck has been named as the executive director of the Reach Gallery Museum in Abbotsford, B.C.
“I am honoured to take on this new position and look forward to collaborating with the exceptionally talented, dedicated and enterprising Reach team,” Dyck said in a news release.
“I am invested in helping The Reach be a vital gathering place where the visual arts, public programs and storytelling powerfully coalesce to serve community, encourage reciprocal public exchange, foster empathy and build a more just and equitable society.”
A widely published writer and researcher, Dyck was most recently the director of the Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) in Ottawa. She holds a master of arts in Canadian art history from Carleton University and a bachelor of arts in art history and history from the University of Victoria. During her time at CUAG, she organized more than 50 exhibitions. She also served on the board of Canadian Art Museum Directors Organization from 2014 to 2018.
