Marianne Elder brings over 20 years of experience in galleries, higher education, and non-profit arts organizations across the U.S. and Canada. She has held leadership roles including Senior Curator at the Art Gallery of Calgary, Gallery Director at East and Peggy Phelps Galleries, and Collections Manager for the Capital Collections Foundation. Marianne has taught in MFA, MA, PhD, and BFA programs at Claremont Graduate University and UC Irvine. She is passionate about mentoring emerging artists and regularly leads professional practices workshops for creative professionals.
