2022 Scholarship Applications: Call for applications

The Red Deer Arts Council is pleased to announce the launch of our 2022 Scholarship Applications. Submissions are now being accepted for the following student awards:

• Princess Margaret Scholarship for Post-Secondary students

• Centennial Scholarships – both for Secondary & Post-Secondary students

• Waskasoo Bluegrass Music Scholarship for Secondary students

• RDC Music Society Scholarship for Post-Secondary students

These five scholarships are intended to support and encourage promising young artists in their continued development, while also serving to raise the arts profile by stimulating, developing, and promoting the arts in Central Alberta.

The residential boundaries for eligibility range north to Ponoka, east to Stettler, south to Olds, and west to Rocky Mountain House.

Artists of all genres are encouraged to apply.

Criteria for student artists and application forms are now available from the office or can be downloaded from our website at  https://reddeerartscouncil.ca under the News & Events à Scholarship and Awards tab. 

Deadline for receipt of completed applications is March 1st annually.
