Call for proposals! The 2023 AGO X RBC Artist-in-Residence program invites early career artists to submit proposals for a project or experience to be created over a three-month residency, responding to the theme of humour. The Artist-In-Residence program at the AGO has welcomed many innovative artists over the years. These artists have shared a willingness to engage in process-based research and presentation. In a spirit of co-creativity with their collaborators, participants, audiences and staff, they expanded the look and feel and understanding of contemporary art practices.
