"60°North: SHETLAND"

Originally from Scotland, Vancouver-based painter Jeff Wilson shows work inspired by his sojourn at The Booth, an acclaimed residency program based in the Shetland Islands. Located some 250 kilometres north of Scotland’s mainland, the unique culture and relative isolation of the Shetlands show clear expression in this recent body of work.

Also: Join us for Robbie Burns Day on Sunday, January 25, 2–4pm, and enjoy Scottish dancing and a tartan display in our lobby and then be piped into the Gallery for Robbie Burns poetry, an Artist’s tour and a wee dram.
