A Conversation is the manifestation of a long-distance digital exchange between two Canadian artists. Using infographics, stock images, personal photos, stills of film, television, videogames, and more, the project follows the tradition of generative art through the manipulation of data and source imagery to create collaborative collage works.
Roselina Hung holds an MA Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London, UK. She has also studied at the University of British Columbia and L’École Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. Roselina currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
Mary Porter is a Halifax-born, Kingston, ON based interdisciplinary artist and arts educator. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NSCAD University and a Master of Fine Arts from York University in Toronto.
