Achievement Unlocked, an exhibition for artists aged 15 to 25.
Opening on Saturday, March 5 with a reception from 11am to 1pm.
This open show is an opportunity for young artists to express themselves in an environment that values their perspective and encourages experimentation.
The Artist Talk will happen in the Art Gallery on Thursday, March 17 from 2pm to 4pm. Masks are mandatory.
The past two years have been difficult for youth; disruption in schooling, cancelled travel plans and activities, and the inability to connect with friends. Achievement Unlocked is an invitation for them to look back at these challenges and see where they have found joy, accomplishment, new hobbies or new habits. It’s also an opportunity for them to reflect on how the rest of the world has responded to this crisis, and to comment on what they see through their art.
