Alberta Culture Days at Artpoint

September 10, 11-5 pm

As part of Alberta Culture Days 2022, Artpoint Gallery & Studios Society and the Heritage Weavers & Spinners Guild of Calgary will be celebrating the wealth of talent and creativity that exists within our community with a day of pop-up events and activities, including:

• Art Exhibition

• Indigenous storytelling with artist Flora Johnson from the Mosakahiken Nation

• Violin performance by Francophone musician Jeremy Gignoux

• Community mural painting on Artpoint building

• Heritage spinning wheel demonstration

• Traditional cotton dyeing workshop with natural materials

• Snacks & beverages
