The Fort Gallery in Fort Langley is excited to offer its annual ‘Art Farm’ art retreat on August 7th, 2016. Always popular, this day involves a choice of seven workshops with artists Kristin Krimmel, Don Portelance, Edith Krause, Jo-Ann Sheen, Susan J. Falk, Amy J. Dyck, Zuzana Vasko and Katina Giesbrecht. In addition, there will be life-drawing sessions, and time to explore the rural setting for artistic inspiration.

The workshop will be held at the property of BC artist Susan J. Falk, in south Langley and will take place rain or shine.

Adults of any ability are welcome to come and learn from Fort Gallery artists keen to share their passion. This year’s workshops include Sketching for Travel, Chalk Pastel, Block Printing, Painting Plein Air: Oil or Acrylic, Expressive Drawing, Contouring Drawing and Monotype Printmaking.

This will be a day to plant seeds of friendship, nourish creativity and harvest new skills. Spaces fill fast so we encourage early registration for this fun day of art-making, to avoid disappointment.
