Port Moody Arts Centre Society "Art in the Garden Tour"
Nature unites with artistic talent in the first ever Port Moody Arts Centre Society’s Art in the Garden Tour, combining beautiful gardens with 2 and 3 dimensional visual art and live music to create a unique event celebrating art and nature. The event runs 9am to 4pm, Sunday, July 15th at various locations in Port Moody, Anmore and Belcarra.
Ten private gardens, open for self-guided tours, will host local artists, artisans and musicians amongst lush greenery. A Free Art & Garden Fair will be held at the Arts Centre grounds featuring artisan sales tables, an artist’s garage sale, 3 master gardeners from the VanDusen Botanical Gardens fielding gardening questions, a mason bee demonstration, plant sales and gardening exhibits. Add to this an open photo contest and a wide range of silent auction items to bid on and you have a full day of inspirational delights.
The Art in the Garden Tour tickets are $20.00 each and are available at various locations including the Port Moody Arts Centre at 2425 St. Johns Street starting May 1st.
The Port Moody Arts Centre Society has been a presence in the community for over 10 years, offering cultural events, arts programs for all ages, and art showings in our gallery within a historic building.
